Dear ALN Members,
With the busyness of the end of the semester, we have decided to extend the call for ALN scholarship applications and Lamplighter Award nominations until January 6, 2025. Please consider nominating your deserving colleagues for the prestigious Lamplighter Award. We also have several scholarship opportunities available. We are very fortunate that our scholarships are once again being matched this year by the Alabama Nurses Foundation. Please see the attached documents for more information about each scholarship or award.
You will also want to save the date for our upcoming annual conference. This year’s conference will be held on Friday, Feb. 28, 2025, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, at the University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing. Our conference theme this year is, “Reimagining Nursing Education: Strategies for Nursing Innovation and Excellence.” The annual Lamplighter Awards Banquet will be held on Thursday evening, February 27th in Tuscaloosa. Registration and hotel information for both events is available on the ALN website.
